On March 10th Magick Carpet played their last gig at Burnett's Hill Chapel in Pembroke, the 'Chapel that Rocks'. From today, March 11th, Magick Carpet have changed their name to JADU. Their first gig as JADU is at the Mulberry Bush Cafe, Lampeter, on Friday 18th March. 2011 promises to be a very eventful year for JADU. Already they have recorded their second CD, Aberaeron Sunset, at Taith studios with the very talented Dylan Fowler, (due to be released in May 2011), made a video at LLanelli college, which is a project for the media students and will be available on You Tube soon, and had their music on the soundtrack of a documentary about India.
